Happy Monday! This week is going to be really busy for me so I wanted to share what I’ve been working on; plus things to come…
First off I recently joined Instagram & Twitter; I know I’m a little late but I would love if you would follow me!
Then, we’ve been working on our living room adding new Travertine tile. When we bought our home (almost 2 years ago) we tore out all the flooring downstairs; and were finally getting around to installing the last of the missing floor. I’m pretty excited to say the least.
Here’s what we’ve been living with. Sorry for the bad pics, these were taken on my phone.
This is after day 1!
The entire floor and our entry should be done the end of this week. We did decide to have this done professionally because in the 2 years we have owned out home we have not managed the time to get this project done. I hope to start updating this room next week.
Another project I started and is waiting to be finished is a baby gate for our stairs.
We had to come up with something since a couple of months a go our daughter started climbing out of her crib and made her way downstairs. I hope to finish it soon since we have a makeshift temporary fix up right now. I’ll share the full tutorial later.
Finally, I’ve been trying to fix our side yard. Our yard is pretty large and the entire thing needs a makeover. So I decided to tackle it in small chunks. I started building a mini fence to hide our A/C unit and pool equipment.
I’ll share more on that later. Then we also started re-landscaping the same area with more drought friendly plants.
