Love all your details and organizational boxes and containers. Wonderful job! Are those air plants that are hanging? I wanted to get one for the powder room we did, but it needs natural light, and our powder room has none of that. Great job!!!

Thanks Erin! Yes they are air plants and I think they can grow pretty well without light every day. I move mine to another room when I water them and let them get some sun.

    Hi Katy,

I love what you did with this space!! I have a really specific question. My husband and I are renovating a beach house in FL and I would love to do some faux shiplap (real shiplap is near impossible to get down here). However, I am REALLY picky about not wanting to see the seam. When you used this method, were you able to completely hide the seam with wood filler/spackle and paint? As in, if you put your face right next to the seam, would you be able to see it? I am type A, if you haven’t already figured that out 😉
Again, I loved what you did and am curious to know the answer!
    Thanks,
    Robyn

Hi Robyn! I know what you mean, I’m also type A! But yes it can be done with no seam showing. You can barely see any of my seams I did make sure to try and keep the 2 pieces matching when I nailed them in. Then your sanding and Spackle will be much easier to do.
