It’s week 2 and I feel like not much has been done; at least when you look at the room. This past week I’ve been doing a ton of planning and shopping for furniture and decor. I was hoping to have finished the base molding, but of course I haven’t started! For now most items are ordered or picked out and I can finally get started on my plans.
So this up coming week I have to finish the molding & get most of the board & batten complete. I’m hoping I can tackle that and even move on to more projects. But let’s be honest, with 2 little ones as my first priority my plans always seem to dissipate.
For now, here’s what I’ve been working on.

I’ve purchased this Black Windowpane Andrea Mirror from Cost Plus World Market and I’ve planned out where it will go along with the rest of the wall.
These beauties that came with our home are finally going to be replaced with some new light fixtures. I never minded the chandelier but the foyer light always bugged me. Either way new lighting always makes the room feel so new to me.
Both of the new lights are from Lowe’s and are the Progress Lighting Equinox Antique Bronze Globe Chandelier. I’m so excited to get them up!
A big part of my week has been deciding on a dining room table. We currently don’t have one so shopping for the perfect one has been a challenge. I think we finally found one. As you can see I taped our where it would fit. The chairs I previously purchased at HomeGoods a couple of years ago, but World Market has almost identical ones here.
• Install and paint molding • Touch up wall paint
• Install new light fixtures • New curtains • Redo Buffet
• Accent Wall in living room • New Table & China Cabinet
• Install barn door • Wall art • Decorate!
Here’s my inspiration again, it will be a Modern Rustic theme; a little farmhouse with a little modern.
Thank you again to all my amazing sponsors, I couldn’t do this room without them!
