LOVE VALENTINE’S DAY? AND LOVE THE VINTAGE LOOK? THEN YOU’LL LOVE THIS SIMPLE & EASY VALENTINE’S DAY LOVE HEART DOOR SIGN! CHECK OUT THE FULL TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE THIS SIGN USING THE CRICUT EXPLORER AIR 2 & EASYPRESS 2.

I love a simple craft project. There’s something about being creative that gets me motivated, and since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner I created this Valentine’s Day Love Heart Door Sign!

When it comes to Valentine’s Day decor I love the vintage look. I love the pale pinks mixed with white and gold, so to add to my Valentine’s Day decor collection (you can see more of that here) I decided to make a new Door Sign.

You’ll need a Cricut Explore Air 2 and the Cricut EasyPress 2 along with Iron-On Vinyl.

Ready to make this Valentine’s Day Love Heart Door Sign? Here’s what you’ll need.

Materials Needed:

  • Chipboard Heart
  • Acrylic Pink Craft Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Valentine’s Day Love Heart Art
  • Cricut Explore Air 2
  • Gold Glitter Iron-On Vinyl
  • Essential Tool Set
  • Cricut EasyPress 2
  • Cricut EasyPress Mat
  • Black & White Stripe Ribbon

Here’s How to Make this Valentine’s Day Love Heart Door Sign!

Step 1 || Paint the chipboard heart pink and set aside to completely dry.

Step 2 || Open up this project within Cricut Design Space and follow the prompts within Design Space by clicking “Make It”. Apply the Iron-On shiny side down to the cutting mat. Don’t forget to click the “Mirror” button before you cut.

Step 3 || After the Vinyl has been cut, weed the art.

Step 4 || Next, prepare your Cricut EasyPress 2.

Not sure what temperature or Time to set?

Remember that the temperature, time, and pressure vary by base material AND iron-on type. Before starting a new project, it’s always best to confirm time and temperature settings. A great place to do that is here >>> Cricut Heat Guide

Step 5 || Next, apply the Iron-On Vinyl with the Cricut EasyPress 2.

Step 6 || Finally, add a bow with vintage looking black and white ribbon, and you’re done!

There you have it! A simple & easy Valentine’s Day Love Heart Door Sign! Check out more Valentine’s Day decor ideas here.
