I wanted to give a update on my custom shower curtain. I still love the look of it but after about 2 weeks this started happening.
Both the curtain and liner kept falling off the hooks. They were both heavy enough and not hitting the ground so something had to be fixed.
I decided to sew the 2 panels together hoping this would be the solution.
But after a week it still started coming off.
I then realized the hooks were leaning so far forward the liner would fall off taking the curtain with it. You can see that here; the 1st pic with just the liner kept the hooks level. But the 2nd pic with both the liner & curtain made the hooks lean too far forward.
So my solution was to add tape. Yes, Tape!
I took off the curtain and added regular scotch tape here. I made it kinda messy so the liner had something to hold onto.
I then added the curtain back and starting using it as usual. A week later it was still working perfectly.
So, there’s my fix!
