It’s week 5 of the One Room Challenge and I’m behind! I made some progress but I still have SO MUCH to do!!! Plus, I have the bad news that my new furniture won’t be delivered till next Wednesday which happens to be reveal day, so I guess my reveal will have to wait till next Friday.

As far as the progress I did make, I setup my new rug. You can find and purchase it here. It’s a little smaller than I wanted but I love the double diamond pattern and the shag texture.
Next I purchased all my white curtains. They’re my absolute favorite textured curtain and at an incredibly reasonable price. I have them throughout my home and I always sew the tabs down to make them look more stylish. You can find and purchase them here.
Then I found these natural wood frames and hung them up. I still need to print and add my own pictures, but I always like to hang the frames then decide the art. You can find and purchase them here.
I also have all my bedding, but the rest is somewhat on hold till I actually get my furniture. Fingers crossed it comes early! But most likely it won’t…. But here’s what I’m getting. My husband and I are pretty excited to have new bedroom furniture with more storage.
To-Do’s
Here’s an updated list of what I need to-do:
New bedding
New rug
Install curtains
- New furniture- Waiting for it!
- Possibly add a sitting area with a new chair- This might be a TBD since I might not have time for this anymore.
- Lots of new decor and art

I love the curtains! What do you mean by you sew the tabs down? What does the curtain rod run through?
Hi Jamie! They come with tabs that you would run the rod through but I sew them down at the back and create a new hidden tab for the rod to run through. Hope that makes sense!
