Nursery {Part 1}

I previously showed you my inspiration & mood board for our nursery, here.

This is what the room looked like with the previous owners.It was cluttered, with too big of furniture and no room to move around. Not to mention they had this built in that destroyed the walls when they removed it, and since we bought the home as a short sale they really didn’t care how they left the walls. Needless to say; we had a lot of patching to do.

Here’s the layout again.Here is the room when we finally owned the home. It looks soo much bigger with that built-in out.For some reason all of the upstairs had no molding, and you could clearly see the floor had been installed for a long time. They also added a stain/sealer to the floor but went around all the furniture, its not as bad in this room, but I’ll show you later where it is.

As you can see we were about to start building the crib, more progress to come.
