It’s week 4 of the One Room Challenge and all of us participants have received some news that the challenge will extend for 1 extra week. I’m honestly pretty excited and relived since this past week has been a struggle since I’ve been sick and haven’t been able to accomplish too much.

So, the most important thing I accomplished this week is figuring out the layout. After spending some time building our new bunk beds I spent way too long rearranging the space. I first started with the bed against this wall where it slightly went past the window.
I really didn’t mind it extending past the window, but trying to place any other furniture in the room was hard. So, I moved it to the complete opposite side, of course I didn’t take a picture, but on that wall it covered the entire window. So, finally I landed on moving the bed against the only wall with no door, window, or closet. My only issue is that is feels a little tight when you first enter the room.
After, I made the bed placement decision, placing the dresser and nightstand was easy. Plus, I finally get open access to the windows which is what I was hoping for. As you can see the dresser fits perfectly on this wall.
Eventually, I’ll add shelving and art on this wall.
Finally, I opened up my new Leesa mattresses in a box. I’ll being sharing much more on that later, but I’m already loving them!
To-Do’s
My goal for next week is to get bedding and start decorating the space. For now here’s what’s left:

Love seeing all the progress and I’m excited for the big reveal! Furniture placement can be such a struggle, but the bed seems to fit perfectly in that corner. Good luck in the next few weeks!
