I can’t believe it’s already week 5 of the One Room Challenge. I’m on the home stretch yet I would love to have a couple more weeks to finish the space. My biggest accomplishment of the week was installing my barn door. It was definitely more of a task than planned, but it’s up!

The door is from Lowe’s and it comes unfinished so you can stain or paint however you like. I stained mine with a mixture of Minwax weathered oak and Minwax dark walnut
Last week I mentioned I was starting to prep my buffet to be painted. But now I’m on the fence. I think once I get my table and hutch in the room I’ll then decide. But for now it will stay as is.
I also started hanging my frames for my gallery walls. I’m still deciding on my art, so you’ll have to stay tuned for that.
I have so much to do in this last week, and to make things more stressful my table and hutch won’t be delivered till next Tuesday. I know that’s cutting it super close, so fingers crossed I’m ready by next Wednesday.

• Install and paint molding • Touch up wall paint
• Install new light fixtures • New curtains • Redo Buffet
• Accent Wall in living room • New Table & China Cabinet
• Install barn door • Wall art • Decorate!
