Ahhhh, it’s already week 4 and the panic is setting in! I have so much more to do on this room. I would love to say everything is ready but the small details, but that’s not the case.

Here’s the progress I made:
My board & batten wall is complete. It came out better than expected and I’m excited to start decorating around it.
I also started hanging my curtains. I still need to adjust the length but finally having window treatments is making the room come together.
I finally hung my arched wall mirror. For the rest of the wall I’ll eventually add some art around the mirror.
Finally, I started to prep my buffet to be painted. I plan to paint it white to match the rest of my decor.
I was hoping to get around to my barn door but that project will be next week. All my final furniture pieces are ordered; now fingers crossed everything gets delivered in time! This next week is definitely going to be crunch time. I’m hoping to have all the major projects complete so I can focus on decorating the following week.
Here’s a updated list of my to-do’s:
• Install and paint molding • Touch up wall paint
• Install new light fixtures • New curtains • Redo Buffet
• Accent Wall in living room • New Table & China Cabinet
• Install barn door • Wall art • Decorate!

You did such a great job with that accent wall! I agree, I’m excited to start putting my room back together. I’ve been without a desk for a few days while I refinish the top and it’s been brutal!
