Outdoors Summer Technology

How to Stay Cool this Summer

This post is sponsored by My Home Climate. All opinions and comments are 100% mine, I only promote products I believe in.

Summer is almost here and that means hot weather is upon us. I love the heat, but I don’t love when it gets so hot it’s unbearable to even be outside. Since I’ve been busy updating my backyard, I thought it would be the perfect time to find a solution so I can stay cool this Summer. That’s how I discovered an Evaporative Air Cooler from My Home Climate!

How to Stay Cool this Summer

When you work so hard on an outdoor space you want to be able to use it year round. Of course in winter months you have heat lamps or fire pits, but when it comes to the hot summer months most people resort to a fan which only goes so far. So, when I learned about Evaporative Air Coolers I was so excited to get one.

If you’re not familiar with them, Evaporative Air Coolers are not air conditioners or mist fans. Think of the cool breeze you get by the ocean, that’s what evaporative cooling is. They simply run hot air through a moist cooling pad, the Air Cooler then lowers the temperature of the air and it blows cool air out to you via a fan.

When it comes to finding the right machine for you, head over to My Home Climate. They have amazing options like the Honeywell CO48PM Outdoor Evaporative Air Cooler and the Honeywell CO301PC Powerful Outdoor Evaporative Air Cooler with Beverage & Storage Compartment.

Using an Evaporative Air Cooler is super easy too. Depending on the machine you have, either fill the tank with water or connect directly to a garden hose or another water source. Once filled with water, plug the unit into an electric outlet, and start enjoying that cool breeze.

Some coolers even include an ice tank that can be loaded with ice cubes, which chills down the circulating water and creates a refreshingly crisp breeze. Many models will include other functional details, like oscillating louvers, remote control, LCD panel, varying fan speeds, timer and more.

Not only will these machines help cool your outdoor space, but they’re also ideal for use in garages, workshops, patios, backyards and solariums. And don’t forget about your pets, they’ll love the cool breeze from them too.

They’re not only cost effective, but a great energy-efficient cooling solution, which are ideal for dry hot climates like mine in SoCal. So, as the weather continues to get warmer, it’s now the perfect time to pick up an Outdoor Evaporative Air Cooler.
