I hope you all had a great Labor Day! I’m still not ready to let the summer go; especially since its over 100* at my house! Anyways, I made these goodie bags for my daughter’s party and they were a hit! It was her 2nd birthday so most of the other children attending were family friends or cousins. With that said, I needed to make equal goodie bags for boys & girls.
I found these new MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars at my local Target and thought they would be perfect for the boys since they’re all obsessed with super hero’s! You can find them in the snack & granola bar section. They happened to be on sale when I picked them up and only a couple boxes were left so I knew they would probably be a good choice for the goodie bag. Plus, these are 40% bigger compared to the 24g chewy bar.
The party theme was under the sea so I wanted to use beach buckets as the goodie bag holder. I bought half MARVEL themed and the other half for girls.
Next was all the goodies! I tried to keep the majority of items consistent between boys/girls. I did get a couple items that were targeted to boys vs girls.
The girls consisted of:
MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars in Chocolate Chip
Bubbles
Under the Sea Stickers
Inflatable Octopus
Play dough
Mini fish
Mini Candy bars
The boys consisted of:
MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars in Chocolate Chip

Whoopee Cushions
Play dough
Spider-man toys
Mini Candy bars
I added some paper stuffing and threw all the items together.
Its funny to see the kids eyes light up when they see the goodie-bags. It can be really hard to please children of all ages, so I knew I did good with MARVEL! The best was when they started comparing the characters on their MARVEL Granola bars. Each box contains a mix of the 6 different wrappers: Captain America, Hulk, Spider Man, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Thor. Also, make sure to check out the back of the box for your collector cards; there are 4 to collect: Hulk, Iron Man, Hawk Eye, and Spider Man.
