I love hoop wreaths, and well honestly any type of wreath for that matter! I really love the simplicity of a hoop wreath, and the possibilities of how to style it are endless. Of course I’ve been wanting to make one forever and now I finally got around to it!
For my Hoop Wreath I went with a succulent arrangement. Using faux succulents work best, but of course you could also use real ones. So want to know how to make this super simple Succulent Hoop Wreath? Here’s how:
Do It Yourself:
Easy Succulent Hoop Wreath
Let’s start with the supplies. I bought most of my faux succulents stems at Hobby Lobby. Along with the rest of the items. Here’s the full list of supplies.

Supplies:
-
- Metal Hoop Ring. You can find these in the floral department or the embroidery section.
- Scissors or Wire cutters
- Ribbon
- Floral Tape or Wire
- Faux Succulents. Pick whatever type you like, but I suggest adding String of Pearls for that extra dimension.
Step 1:
After you gather your supplies Start adding the succulent stems to the ring with the floral tape. For the heavier stems I suggest leaving them long and wrapping the stem in several spots along the ring.
Step 2:
Continue layering the succulents.
Step 3:
Add all the larger succulents first, then to finish it off and to make sure you don’t see any floral tape, add in the String of Pearls.
Finally, add ribbon to the top and finish with an extra ribbon bow.
If you find your succulents to be too heavy, then you might want to add floral wire to help secure some spots. Here’s the after.
This Do It Yourself Succulent Hoop Wreath was really so easy to make, and so so pretty! What’s even better is that you can either change them up throughout the year & seasons, or since they were so easy and cheap to make you can have several different options for each holiday.
