I love Tulips and finding new ways to plant them. This project was fairly simple. Here’s what you need.
Supplies:
-Mason Jars
-Bronze Spray Paint
-Wood
-Stain
-Paint
-Tulips
First step is to cut your wood pieces to size.
Then attach the front/back pieces to the bottom, I used my nail gun for this.
Now add the side pieces, also using a nail gun.
I then lightly sanded the entire box. After I cleaned the dust off I broke out my favorite stain color and stained the entire box.
Set that aside for a couple of hours to dry. While waiting I prepared my Mason Jars; I spray painted the tops bronze.
Next get your favorite type of tulips. I picked already blooming bulbs that have various types included.
Next I planted the tulips into the mason jars.
I also added a cute jute string to make it more rustic.
Once the stain dried on the box I added white paint to the outside only.
I then distressed the box so the stain would show through.
That’s it! I now have a really cute piece to add to my home decor.
Here’s a bunch of pics of the finished product.
