Cricut DIY: Summer Vinyl Rainbow Glassware

Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it’s final days! A while back I shared 10 of The Best Beginner Projects using your Cricut, and one of those projects was this Summer Vinyl Rainbow Glassware.

I found these amazing Rainbow colored glasses from Hobby Lobby and couldn’t pass them up. These glasses screamed Summer, so I decided to customize them with “Sippin’ on Summer” art with my Cricut machine. Here’s how you can do the same.

I love wandering the aisles of Hobby Lobby for inspiration, but when you find something that gets you in the creative mood it’s hard to pass up. But since Hobby Lobby has so many seasonal items, like these glasses, I found a similar option here.

Here’s how I quickly made these custom glasses.

Materials Needed:

“Sippin’ on Summer” Art
Rainbow Iridescent Drinking Glasses. Again, I found mine at Hobby Lobby but here’s a similar option.
Permanent Vinyl or Removable Vinyl
Transfer Tape
Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Joy
Essential Tool Set

Here’s How to make Summer Vinyl Rainbow Glassware!

Step 1 || Select the glassware you want and make sure to clean the outside really well.

Step 2 || Grab the art in Cricut Design Space HERE.

Don’t have Cricut Access? If you haven’t already signed up for Cricut Access, I suggest you do. You get access to tons of graphics and art elements to create your own designs. Check out Cricut Access HERE.

Step 3 || Setup the art to fit the size you need. Then follow the prompts on Design Space to start cutting the Vinyl. Then cut and weed the vinyl.

Step 4 || Transfer the vinyl to transfer tape.

Step 5 || Finally, apply the vinyl with transfer tape to the glassware.
