A Statement Chair

As I recently mentioned we have sold our home and purchased a new one, along with having a baby. I’m so excited to show the new home since its filled with projects. One of them is our Nursery, however I’m still working on it but wanted to show you a new purchase of mine, our chair.

Finding the right chair was really important to me. It needed to be modern, functional, comfy, and reasonably priced. So, I started pulling pics of chairs I liked. I always research before purchasing a piece.

So after much research here are the chairs I liked most:

Option 1- small sitting chair, but no arms.

Option 2- A patterned club chair with low arms

Option 3- A club chair with stud details

Option 4- A low chair, no arms

Option 5- an 18th Century Chair

Option 6- A geo patterned chair

I then realized I wanted a neutral colored chair in a linen type fabric since this would be in a kids room and it needs to be durable and easily cleanable. I also wanted it to last with the intention to moving the chair into our master when a nursery was no longer needed.

Well I ended up going with this club chair. I think it works well in the nursery.
