Disney and Halloween are 2 of my favorite things! It seems like we visit more and more during Halloween Time at Disney since they keep offering more and more exciting things to do and see. This year has been no exception, so here’s 9 Reasons to Visit Disney at Halloween Time!

1-Decor
First and foremost I LOVE the decor! It makes me want to go home and deck out my house for Halloween. There really is so much to see at every corner of the park, plus once night time hits there’s so much more to see.
2-Characters
All your favorite characters are dressed in their Halloween Costume, and they even have different costumes at different parks. Plus, you’ll be able to see all your favorite Villains.
3-Haunted Mansion
Every year they transform the Haunted Mansion to “A Nightmare Before Christmas” theme, and with each year it gets better. Make sure to visit this ride first thing as it’s one of the most popular rides this time of year.

4-Main Street Pumpkin
Getting a pic in front of the famed pumpkin is a must! Every year we try to capture a family pic, or 2, or 10…. I love it and it’s a great way to kick things off as you enter Disneyland park.
5-Mickey’s Halloween Party
Mickey’s Halloween Party or now called Oogie Boogie Bash is one my favorite events to attend. It’s a special after hours party that is definitely worth checking out. Just make sure to book as early as August since every year it fills up faster and faster.

6-Food
The food! With so many extra special treats you can spend the entire day trying everything they have to offer. Make sure to try the Pumpkin Spice Beignets in New Orleans, they’re a favorite of mine!

7-Night Time Shows & Fireworks
Once night time starts the park completely transforms. With lights everywhere, music playing through the park, special lighted graphics & effects, and of course the Fireworks. Night time is a must see during Halloween Time!
8-Souvenirs
If you love Halloween decor then you won’t want to leave their shops. They have everything from home decor, treat bags, special ears, backpacks, and clothes. Shop more here or below.

9-Cars Land
Finally, you need to visit Cars Land in California Adventure. It’s best to be there right at dusk and you get to see them turn on all the lights and officially turn it to Halloween time. They have the best decor for Car’s lovers.

I know I just covered the basics, but there really is so much to see and do during Halloween Time at Disney. If you have the chance, make sure to go check it out before it’s too late. It runs from September 6 to October 31, 2019 this year.
